The ice melted in a hole Monday. 2 Canada Geese moved in to enjoy the quickly developing water plants. Their gliding radius increased with the thaw. Yesterday they were joined by a trio of Mallards and today the ice is gone. On the pond, we have Spring (although the snow is still piled by the drives).
