I saw 5 Bald Eagles, 1 mature and 4 immature, crowded around a
hole in the ice on Lake Geneva. I tried to approach to get a
closer look, but they noticed me and flew off. I returned to
our cottage and one of the immature Bald Eagles was perched
in a tree about 10 feet away.
