Up through the last of the remaining snow the first tulips emerged. We have received more snow than usual during Janurary and February so we were surprised to see the tulips up so early. This is our third year participating in the project and this is the earlist our tulips have ever emerged. The weather forecasts temperatures in the fifties and sixties by the end of the week so we should have good growing degree days for tulips.
