Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/26/2000

Number: 1

Our robins are here in force! Everywhere you look on lawns and school grounds and baseball fields the robins are bouncing around. We hear them singing in the trees and chirping at neighborhood cats. The first week in February our daily highs and lows averaged 30 degrees. The second week they averaged 33 and we thought maybe the robins would show up in a big wave that week but they didn't. The third week the temperatures averaged 26 degrees so the robins looked pretty smart for not coming. This week our temperatures averaged 47 degrees and here they are!
We also have had some precipitation which helps with our drought so maybe they knew the rain was coming, too!
