Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 03/08/2000

Number: 1

This evening, while we were boiling down the day's sap from the maple bush, we could hear a robin singing down by the pond. It is very warm today (+12C) and it feels like spring has arrived. Next week I will be travelling along the shoreline of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron all the way up to Sault Ste. Marie Michigan and I will watch and listen for signs of spring!
