Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

On March 4, 2000 I observed my first adults and eggs in Baton Rouge ,LA. Two adults, 1 female, and 1 sex undetermined, were observed in my garden. Three eggs were found on A. curassavica after the sighting. Color of female was bright and appeared fresh, the other butterfly was partially faded and slightly worn. On March 8, 2000 another adult, sex undetermined, flew through my yard. Its colors were very bright and fresh looking.
