Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 03/09/2000

Number: 1

Daily sightings continue of eggs, larvae, and adults at Suter Refuge, but all the adults still appear in mint condition, and are presumed to be from the coastal population. No more than 4 adults have so far been seen visiting the Mexican milkweed in the refuge's butterfly garden at one time, and only a few individuals have been seen flying around Corpus Christi in general. Apparently the migrants have yet to appear here.
