Tonight, the Toronto Rare Bird Hotline (Hugh Currie reporting) reported that at the beginning of the
week (March 6-7), during a period when Ontario experienced record-warm temperatures, an eastern
comma was spotted in Toronto. Also, in the Windsor area (42.18 N, 83.01 W), a few Compton's tortoiseshell were spotted,
with the earliest sighting being March 3rd.
