Bald Eagle - lives all winter near the Ottawa river by Mattawa, Ontario,40 miles East of North Bay. Seen on March 7 carrying large stick,presumably for nesting purposes. The Ottawa is open all winter in this area due to the fast current at the base of a large hydro dam.
