Approximately 300 White Pelican sighted in a "kettle", wide circles with few wingbeats riding the updrafts. They were observed just east of downtown Victoria moving from south-southwest to north-northeast at 10:30 am. One of the many migrants along the middle of the Texas coast and one of the most fascinating when sighted in large numbers at low altitudes.
