Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 03/19/2000

Number: 1

Two monarchs observed in small urban butterfly garden during
brief periods of sunshine, one in the morning one in the
afternoon, both females. Afternoon female clearly positing
in the already larvae devastated milkweed. One tiger
swalltail observed passing through. You may find it of
interest that we have had nonstop monarch sightings on any
temperate/sunny day since October when our first milkweed
was introduced here. This will be our third round of
larval activity as well.
