Many reddish-gray sprouts were seen above ground on Thursday, March 16th. They were promptly covered up again by a snowstorm the next day! It's melting away, and we're still counting Thursday as the date of sighting because they were definitely above the ground! The weather has switched back and forth lately from warm to freezing.
