We have been watching our tulips closely, especially through that warm spell we had. Many shoots coming up in our microclimate areas around the school building, but no sign of emergence in our official site until Monday, March 13.... Joey saw the tip of his shoot just barely sticking through the soil...had to even dig out a little of the dirt to see it clearly! Toni saw her tip later in the week on Friday, March 17. Unfortunately, we are going on spring break so we will have to have volunteer students dropping by over vacation to see if there is any more action in our garden! We have had very little rain lately and mostly cloudy days.
