Kailee, Rika, Rob, Erika and Kevin from grade three/four say that our new tulip shoots are pinky-red, and about two centimetres high. We planted them in the out-of-bounds area of our playground so no one will step on them. Three tulip shoots have emerged. This year, our winter has ended quite early and we have warm, sunny days when normally we would still have snow and cold weather. We predict that the tulips will bloom on April 21, 2000.
