Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/27/2000

Number: 1

Monday was warm and still and their she was. My first sighting of a Monarch from Mexico. For serveral days their have been Monarchs with very bright, vivid colors. This was the first one that is faded and almost transparent. The "ghost monarch". The milkweed in this area north of Dallas is pretty scarce. Just beginning to show above the ground. I have imported Mexican Milkweed and that is beginning to bloom. Sure hope that is enough for her..Madame Butterfly
