All Other Signs of Spring

On Tuesday, March 28, 2000 our school was visited by a huge flock of birds. The trees, fields and garden around our school were covered with very loud birds. Some of the birds were male red-winged blackbirds and some were grackles. We think some of them might have been female blackbirds. They were quite a sight to see and hear! We were wondering if this kind of flocking was common?
