Milkweed has finally emerge in North Georgia. Butterfly weed, Asclepias tuberosa, has emerged and is already about two inches tall. Asclepias incarnata is only about one inch tall. It has been very unseasonably warm here lately. There are no eggs yet. Normally we find eggs before we actually see our first Monarch.
