After a steady day of heavy, continuous rain, we looked out the window into the courtyard and were overjoyed to see two red blossoms and dozens of other buds ready to open. According to our records, spring is earlier this year. Last year we didn't get blossoms until April 16 and in 1998 we had blossoms on April 12.
