Travelling from Tatamagouche to New Glasgow we had to cross over the causeway that connects Pictou to the New glasgow Highway. On the old wharf pilings Comorants have been nesting for many years. As a sign of spring is the return of these comical looking seabirds. I'm told by locals that their return is indeed early this year.
