The sighting was made at approximately 12 noon in Fayette County Pennsylvania at Dunlop Creek Park Lake. Weather sunny but windy and water choppy. The loon remained on a remote part of the lake near the breast of the dam. Observed the bird diving frequently and hovering close to the rocky shore near the earthen dam. Other waterfowl spotted at the same time included 1 male Shoveler and 2 female Shovelers,1 male and 2 female American Widgeons,1 Pied Billed Grebe and 1 American Coot.
