Our first blossom opened today! All the others are still tightly closed buds! But we are hopeful that they will soon open because the weather has been just gorgeous! It is mild and we have had some rain showers so that the plants have enough water. We were really worried that we would not have any tulips to report because something has been nibbling on the plants. Most of the tulips we planted last year did bloom but the flowers look pretty funny because they have been nibbled down so that most of the blossoms are gone. We hope this year's tulips will escape whatever is enjoying the rest of the flowers.
