My first sighting of a hummingbird occurred at 11:20 a.m. on Sunday April 9, 2000. I was very happy to see the return. I am not sure of the species but it had a red ring around its neck.

Last year I had several hummingbirds feeding here. I am sure there will be several this year. I am planning on putting more flowers out this year than I had last year.
