Two monarchs, were seen today in Grand Tower, IL (southern Illinois
about 2 hours south of St. Louis, MO) . They didn't appear particularly
worn or tattered. Another male, also fairly fresh looking was captured around Ava, IL.


Temperatures here have been averaging in the 60's in the daytime, but we have had some very cold nights down in the low 30's.
