For First emergence of milkweed for your Milkweed Study this year:
I saw many first leaf whirls of milkweed emerging along the
milkweed patch I have growing along the warm brickwork of the
school on Friday, April 14th. Temperatures were in the 60's
today. We do not get the monarchs up our way until the end
of May. We will keep a watch for eggs on leaves.
