Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/10/2000

Number: 1

Our garden is beautiful! We planted one small area to be a test garden with less light than the main garden. However, it is between two blacktopped walkways. That garden bloomed at the same time as our regular garden. One corner of the regular garden got less light than the rest. That corner actually took about 2 days longer to bloom. As I took the class out to observe their tulips, they could also see the stems leaning toward the sun. The children wished we had time lapse photography. We have loved the project!
