After almost 2 weeks of rain, cloudy skies and strong NE winds, skies cleared on Friday the 21st. The next day, our house wren was singing at 6 am beside our garden where they nest each year. I saw my first white-throated sparrows, barn swallows and kingfisher. (The latter may have been around earlier but not seen.)
