Happy Easter,

A lone common loon arrived this a.m. He was swimming along the edge of the open water , 800 ft, from our deck.
It is now 8:22 pm. and I haven't heard his call yet ; and I have spent the entire afternoon and early evening on the deck .
I also watched a pair of American Widgeon .
