Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/28/2000

Number: 1

For about a week we have been seeing 2 to 4 monarchs nectaring on the blueberry flowers in our blueberry patch. We saw at least one female and two males. So each day we have been checking the milkweed for eggs.
This evening we found 5 monarch eggs on incarnata. The incarnata is 5" tall. We found no eggs on the native milkweed that is closer to the blueberry flowers.
