A great crested flycatcher catching insects in the wild cherry tree in backyard. Rhododendrons, azaleas, red honeysuckle, and columbine blooming. A hummingbird clearwing moth sipping nectar from the rhododendron blossoms. First sighting this season. Bluebird babies have hatched in nestbox. Robins, chickadees, wrens, and cardinals all nesting in yard. Rose breasted grosbeak and indigo bunting still here. Goldfinches plentiful. The males have their beautiful bright yellow plumage now.
