Out of the seventy-two tulips that we planted in October, three are blooming gloriously. We are experiencing "unseasonably" warm temperatures. Yesterday we set a new record of 31.9 degrees Celsius! However, these temperatures are not consistent. The day before yesterday, it only went up to 9 degrees. What that means to most of the other tulips is that the blossoms did not mature since they froze when the temperature dipped below zero a few times. Nevertheless, we are celebrating, spring is well and truly here!
