Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 05/03/2000

Number: 1

It really feels like summer now in Anniston, Alabama. Daytime temperatures are in the 80's and it is in the upper 60's at night. We haven't seen nearly as many Monarchs this spring as we usually do. It might have been because we had alternating warm and cool days for several weeks before the warm weather finally got here.

Carpenter saw only one Monarch on his way to swimming at the YMCA. It was just flying around. Tatiana saw three in her yard feeding on flowers and one flying around at the local park.
