Sighted first ruby throated of the century! It was early, 6:30 AM at Lake Sara near Effingham, IL. Saw many spring birds the week of May 1 thru 5 from deck of my sister and brother-in-law's place. Had taken a week of vacation just to catch some migrants sooner than at home. Still waiting to spot first one at home!
