Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Sighted at 6:00 PM. on 5/5/00. Temperature 89 Deg. F. Winds S/SW 15/25 mph. Partly cloudy skies. We have had these similar conditions for the past few days. The two sighted adult Monarchs were flying around and landing on Bluebell plants in a flower garden belonging to the parents of one of my Science students. She was not able to tell if they were male or female. Her parents confirm the sighting. Their home is located about 6 miles NW of Hutchinson, MN, 55350.
