Monarch female in Annapolis area 05/05/00
She was laying eggs on two itty bitty
milkweed plants. Not happy to have such a small selection or such puny
plants, she flitted about considerably but always returned to them as there
were no other options. Rushing to the garden store, I purchased another 9
"ice ballet". From past experience that variety isn't as attractive, but
hopefully better than nothing. We are located in Arnold, MD, about 5 miles
north of Annapolis.
