On 05/04/00 we had no milkweed visable. However today I checked the milkweed because we had seen 2 monarchs in 2 days in 2 different locations. To my surprise I found 3 plants. I found a 5 inch plant, and a 2 inch plant and a 3 inch plant. I was surprised even further when I found a fresh egg on the 3 inch plant! The warmer than normal temperatures in the last week must have really pushed things along.
