As I was driving slowly down 13th Street SE just before North Carolina Ave at 4pm I saw a monarch flutter across the street in front of my car. Our second graders have been eager to learn of a siting in our school neighborhood. I am going to the Arboretum to see if there are eggs on the milk weed.
