On Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at 7:00 P.M., the first hummingbird arrived at our feeder. It drank steadily for five minutes then disappeared for the rest of the evening. We have a fuschia plant out for the hummingbirds in addition to the feeder.Weather has turned cooler (50's) and rainy, frost is predicted for this weekend. Everything is happening earlier this spring for both plant and animal life - my garden never looks like this on May 10th!
