My children's tulip bed at home was the object of disappointment.
We kept waiting for tulips to emerge, but they never did. One day my four year old reported that she watched a squirrel dig up a bulb and carry it away. The holes were there to further indicate that this may have been what happened. We'll try again next year with some type of mesh thrown over the top to deter our little friends!
