We saw our first Monarch butterfly today, Sunday, June 4, 2000.
We live just north of Kingston, Ontario on the juncture of Lake Ontario and The St. Lawrence River. My grade two class studied monarchs last fall and followed them to Mexico with the Journey North Program. I will be asking the school children to report any Monarchs they see this week and report back to you. Good Luck !
