First frost noted.Yesterday 09/04/00 goldenrod in full bloom noted this am at 0900-goldenrod brown and wilted. Last saw Monarch butterfly 2 weeks ago in flower garden next to house. Have noted no larva in the area since August 5-6. Noted on 09/03/00 eggs on milkweed plants in area. Milkweed pods are fully mature.
