The Journey North Program has heightened the awareness of the Monarch migration for my kindergartners and their parents. It is a highly motivating activity to kick off our school year in the fall. We also learn about Mexico, some cultural information, map skills, some Spanish, and observe the life cycle from eggs and caterpillars from our butterfly garden.
