I found a large turtle near our home. The frist turtle I have seen in this location in 15 years ,I went to the library and after reseaching I found that this turtle is migrating,it is also endanged. It is the species named suwannee cooter of florida ,she lays her eggs and then hibernates for the winter, a water species.
but theres no pond or lakes within a mile. So after school my daughter relocated the turtle to a great pond where other turtles also reside.
