We are developing Monarch Meadow, a habitat restoration project
>located in Newark's Branch Brook Park. Last year, over 2,000
>Newark schoolchildren participated in the Conservancy's Monarch Project. After learnig about the Monarch's life cycle
and migratory pattern, children made Monarch Seeballs. Seedballs are 1/2 inch clay, humus and seed balls that have a 88% germination rate.
You can learn about seedballs at seedballs.com. You can learn about the Greater Newark Conservancy,
at which I am the Director of Education, at citybloom.org.
To date, the Conservancy has brought the Monarch Project to over 4,000 people.
