Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/05/2000

Number: 1

Our Kindergarten class had a Monarch caterpillar in our classroom. We watched it grow as it ate milkweed leaves. One morning we came into school and it had made its chrysilas. In 10 days we saw our butterfly come out of its chrysalis. The next day we let it go. It flew up into the trees and off to Mexico. We have been looking for other Monarch
butterflies but have not seen any.
