I saw 50 large sea birds soaring on the themals around 4pm. We had a hurricane yesterday ,hurricane gordon,the west coast of florida . Catogory 1 which is about 75 miles an hour. We live 25 miles from the gulf of mexico so it is unusual to see these large
soaring sea birds. last 12/00 I last reported seeing them inland.
The birds were heading towards the east towards the other coast as to the west was the gulf. Were they following the setting sun or just being blown off course due to hurricane?
