Monarchs are moving through Joyceville, Ontario, near the eastern shores of Lake Ontario. Students have been finding several of the winged wonders that did not survive the winds of late summer and have been bringing in beautiful specimens to class. Some of the monarchs are flying through the fields of the school's rural grounds, while others are sighted around the dairy farms and back yards in the area. We know time is ticking for them to pack their bags for the Mexican warmth of winter. We will miss their unique radiance and wish them Bon Voyage until next Spring!
