The children found another turtle this morning a yellowbelly slider. It was in a busy parking lot so I took it to the pond nearby to release it. The turtle book I use as a reference states this species migrates and will nest in early fall.The turtle we released last week was a suwannee cooter it is doing well in this pond too.we observe it everyday.
