there was one lone ruby throated humming bird who visited my flower bed and "hummer" feeder yesterday. this was the first bird I have seen in almost a week. it appeared to be a mature female. that was in fairly familier territory. as she did not fly from the feeder when I went outdoors. and "buzzed" me several times in the space of 45 minutes.
