9/23/00 Saturday, 10:30a.m.: It appears that the same number(300) of monarchs were gathered in the yards at 1803 N. Sam Houston, Street, in Odessa, TX. As reported yesterday, the butterflies appear to be gathering and resting on the tree limbs and vines. As we gently walked through the area, groups of butterflies near us would flutter into short flights and land on other tree limbs a few feet away as if our presence made them nervous.
