We counted over 100 butterflies on Monday (9/25/00) when the cold front came through. Before the front we noticed that they seemed to be going directly the opposite way they were supposed to, and were a little worried. But they're going the right way now. We counted almost 60 the next day. We counted 28 today. On Monday they were flying really high. We actually saw one disappear into a cloud! On Tuesday and Wednesday they were back down near the trees. They are beautiful!!
